About us
Hi! We're Vanessa and Greg and in 2009 we stumbled upon this magical location we now call home. In fact, we were first guests here before taking it over as owners in 2015. We love sharing our passion for the island and making every guest feel at home during their stay.
We are originally from Wisconsin where Greg owns a building inspection business. He continues to work that job, traveling back and forth. Vanessa lives in Rincon and she manages the Boarding House full time.
We want to help you experience the wonders of Rincon PR and see for yourself first hand why this remote location can also be your home away from home year after year!
In memory of our
sweet Lola
Lola made the move with us to Rincon at the age of 12. It took her a while to adjust, but she fell completely in love with the beach! Every morning we took beach walks together and I’ve never seen her so happy and relaxed.
As a guest at the Boarding House, I’m sure you can remember Lola greeting you when you arrived and giving you the full tour of the house. She loved to take everyone on that tour! We have so much gratitude that we were able to give her this life in her golden years.
She left us peacefully on October 16, 2019, but her sweet spirit will always be felt here. Thank you to all of our guests for always showing her so much love.
